Show them that you are also doing what they are supposed to do. Kids are smart, in which they will look at you as their role model and need you to recycle, buy green things, and protect earth first before they do.

Listen to what they have to say and maybe you should go outdoors to increase their connection to the environment and improves the chances they’ll want to protect it.

Do you feel like planning a trip? Remember about our ecotourism talk along with their destination and hotels? Well, now 1000 Green Steps will give you more option with this NH Hoteles, a hotel which is evolving their technology system to be more sustainable.
Major hotel chain NH Hoteles has just teamed up with Isofotón, a solar technology manufacturer operating out of Malaga, Spain, to do green steps together. The two companies will be collaborating on solar projects at the NH Parque Avenidas Hotel in Madrid and the NH Campo de Gibraltar in Palmones.
NH Hoteles currently operates in 22 countries on three continents. Currently NH Hoteles has 54 projected plans for new hotels, which will be added to the 347 hotels already owned by the company.

Your school will be impressed if they know that you’re contributing to the school or your community in a meaningful way and will give you great reference letters. “I spent the evening volunteering for an environmental group” sounds a lot better than “My dog ate my homework”.

Just like other idols who have taken green steps in their life, Alanis Morissette also has started her own green steps since 2003. Back then she was narrating the program presenting growing evidence of climate change called Global Warming: The Signs and the Science. The following year she signed up for another film, The Great Warming, which she narrated with Keanu Reeves.
In 2003, this solar powered house owner was awarded The EMA Missions in Music Award for acts such as speaking out against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and encouraging fans to learn about and become more involved in political issues.
As well as urging fans to educate themselves on the Bush administration’s Energy Plan, Morissette posts information on her website about her own aid donations through CHF International and invites fans to contribute.
