1000 Green Steps have seen too many rioters and rampages that are so wasting their time by destroying their own planet. To what extend are burning tires and effigies are important in doing a riot? We should consider not burning effigies and tires when people go on Riots and Rampages. (I guess we should also avoid Riots and Rampages). Burning tires, buses, and effigies emit tons of CO2 and other Greenhouse gas that is affecting us badly.
Happy Green Living!
1000 Green Steps are going to tell you today’s new green step to reduce your own carbon footprint. No, 1000 Green Steps are not going to tell you about some BIG STEPS on the journey, but SMALL STEPS that everyone can do anytime and anywhere.
You can start your green steps simply by trying to avoid an air round-journey. Because do you know that one air round-trip between San Francisco and New York creates about the same amount of carbon emissions as the average American home’s electricity use for four and one-half months? That’s a pretty significant reduction. Take your green steps now, folks!

Now who doesn’t know Wal-Mart, that mega-giant of world comsumption? 1000 Green Steps found an interesting fact that in the future Wal-Mart wll possibly accompany those rock-bottom price tags with green labels. Green Labels? Yes, those are labels showing the product’s carbon footprint info. So now there will be less reason for the customers for not going green. Something incredibly good could come out of this such as:
People know now what they are causing by buying the products they buy
Manufacturer will turn their products green to attract more customers
Our earth will not get worsened faster and faster each day

PepsiCo announced yesterday that it has calculated the carbon footprint of a 64-ounce container of Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice as part of their green steps.
According to a company press release, the entire product lifecycle of each 64-ounce carton of orange juice contributes an estimated 3.75 pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere.
By comparison, a car that gets 20 mpg emits about 1.0 pound of CO2 for each mile driven.

- The Eco House
After having an ecotourism, purchasing eco-friendly gadgets by buying cell phone with eco-brands, this option sound a lot more interesting for you. 1000 green Steps had handpicked some beautiful design and came up with this stunning house. The Eco House is located in Spain, which has a roof line which sits wing-like above the building line. The roof form and distance from the building is key, it holds the solar panels at the correct angle to maximize effectiveness whilst also hiding them from view. A rainwater reclamation system will be installed and a photovoltaic system will supply the electricity to run a radiant heating system within the floor. Sounds like luxury, doesn’t it? It absolutely does to 1000 Green Steps.

Do you adults will actually call a taxi as a public transportation? Well, you will or maybe you will not. According to my opinion, a public transportation should help public to transport well. And if it is used only for 1-4 passengers, then I guess it should be called a rented private transportation.
From now on, try to use real ‘public’ transportation. Those are thing like subways or buses. By taking those transportations to your preferred destinations, I am sure that now you can start to feel proud of yourself in contributing even more noticeable green steps to your community.

If you cannot stand the crowd pushing each other bodies (literally) inside the busses or subways, you might like 1000 Green Step’s cheap solutions for you. First, walk and only visit places within the reach of walking distance. If that is also not possible to be done, you can try our option number two which is buying an eco-friendly car, and make use of it as a car pool for your region.
If you don’t feel like buying anything expensive, you should try buying a bike. Bicycles are not only good for our environment, but also good to manage the ‘exercise’ schedule to keep up your body health. So why not buy an infestation?
